Following on from the overview of the Wilderness Systems Thresher 140 the rigging of the kayak for fishing starts with the fitting of an anchor trolley.
The video below shows how to fit a no drill anchor trolley using existing fitments on the kayak along with the parts needed. The video also looks at the reasons for having an anchor trolley for those new to anchoring a kayak.

DeleteLike what you did with the zig zag cleat Rob. Tell me, are those just sort of M6 hex head bolts on to a brass backing plate? Had a quick look on line, can't spot anything like that. I've found T bolts but without hex heads. I've the same application to carry out on GT175 rails.
ReplyDeleteHi Martin. I had to improvise by using a couple of bolts that were spare from the slidetrax bungee tie downs at the rear tank well track. However, the tie downs with the t-bolts and hex nuts can be purchased here: http://www.aswatersports.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?cPath=38_78&products_id=1303&osCsid=4f0758cc7cbb53728a88e47d646583bc You would need to check they have them in stock. Another option may be the Railblaza Trac Mount Pack. The bolts may be too long which would mean hack sawing them down. http://www.aswatersports.co.uk/shop/product_info.php?products_id=2666&osCsid=110cfac5298d44ffdf35983e335ebd58 Hope this helps.
DeleteThanks Rob, will have a look.
